Previously, quotes for all three products would be on the one page, where the price and the associated notes would be crammed in a confi ned space. On big jobs it was getting to the point where there was too much information and customers would focus on the bottom line, instead of what components or factors that make up that price.
Importantly, some of these components may not be have been quoted by opposition companies, such as site measures, number of deliveries, noggins, valleyboards, box gutter framing, verge sprockets, wall framing members, the posi live load, posi chord sizes and set downs for the showers.
With this new format it will be make it clearer for the customer to determine what inclusions/exclusions are with the quote.
The other main factor in itemising the products on a separate page is that it allows us to combine the specifi cation requests. So if the quote is to become an order, the customer just needs to tick the relevant boxes, confi rming what was quoted and this deletes the spec sheets that were previously attached with the quote. Therefore there is less paperwork to sign.
This revised quote look is part of Bowens Prefabrication improving our everyday service to builders.
