New WorkSafe Publication

WorkSafe have released a new publication titled "Overview of how inspectors deal with specific issues".

Most employers have limited information when it comes to a WorkSafe Inspector visiting their workplace, this publication provides clarification on the following topics:

  • Overview of how inspectors deal with entry to a workplace, premise or site under legislation
  • Requirements for inspectors when issuing Entry Reports and/or notices following entry to a workplace, premise or site
  • Process inspectors are required to follow when exercising the power to collect samples
  • Overview of how inspectors deal with requests to attend a disputed Provisional Improvement Notice
  • Overview of how inspectors deal with allegations of PIN non-compliance
