- Does GAF roof shingles comply with potable water requirements?
Yes. GAF roof shingles complies with AS/NZ 4020.
- Does Bowens provide GAF roof shingle installation?
Unfortunately, we do not. However, we can provide a list of recognised installers.
- Is GAF Roofing BAL rated and suitable for bushfire prone locations?
GAF Roofing offers a range of shingles available in BAL 12.5 up to BAL 29. However, not all of the range are BAL rated.
- What is the minimum roof pitch allowable for GAF roof shingles?
The minimum roof pitch for shingle roofing is 9.46 degrees or 2/12.
- How long does it last?
Factors such as weather conditions, location, moisture content in the air, UV rays, and others, can contribute to how long your roof will last. However, all Timberline® roofing shingles and all GAF designer shingles come with a life-time warranty.
