More than 80 builders, designers, suppliers and industry leaders came together at Circa Studio and Bowens Port Melbourne for the inaugural Build Insite Live event — an afternoon of authentic conversation, innovation and industry connection.
On Thursday 23 April, the team behind the Build Insite Podcast hosted their first ever live event at the Circa Architectural Selection Studio within Bowens Port Melbourne, bringing together builders, suppliers, designers and industry professionals for an afternoon focused on the future of Australian construction.
As proud partners of Build Insite, Circa and Bowens were delighted to support an event that reflected shared values of collaboration, innovation, education and industry connection. The event was brought together through close collaboration between Build Insite, Circa Studio and Bowens, with Bowens BDM Damien Thomas playing a key behind-the-scenes role in connecting the partnership and supporting the afternoon’s program.
Hosted by Build Insite founders Luke Callery and Dean Backman, the event featured live panel discussions, guided product tours, supplier showcases and networking opportunities designed to encourage practical insight and authentic industry conversation. The Build Insite Podcast has quickly become a respected platform for builders, tradies, architects and innovators exploring high-performance homes, sustainability, business management and the evolving construction landscape — and Build Insite Live successfully translated that dialogue into a live format.
The afternoon included two live podcast panels within the Circa showroom, alongside guided tours of the Bowens selection and hardware spaces led by Andrew Healy. Guest speakers included Jesse Raeburn (FRP Group), Dale Cheeseman (The Melbourne Builder), Matt Menichelli (Elevate Building Group), Sam Hammond (Built by Hammond), Luke Davies (Davies Construction & Future Builder) and Adam Antony (Veo Building Co.), each sharing perspectives on building challenges, emerging trends, business growth and the future opportunities shaping the industry.
