A Year of Connection and Growth at Circa Studio

2025 at Circa

As 2025 comes to an end, we’ve taken a moment at Circa Studio to reflect on a year filled with connection, creativity, and meaningful growth. From welcoming new faces into our space to strengthening relationships within the design and building community, the past twelve months have reminded us why our Port Melbourne studio continues to be such a special place.

Our partnership with Sustainable Builders Alliance remained a key highlight, with several successful events hosted in our showroom. These gatherings brought together a diverse network of industry professionals and showcased the collaborative, community-focused culture that continues to define Circa.

We were also proud to continue our involvement with VIVID, the emerging designer awards. A standout moment for us was presenting the Object Design Award to Lucy Callahan for her beautifully crafted Ridl, whose thoughtfully crafted work captured the attention of the judging panel. Supporting emerging designers remains an important part of our commitment to the broader industry.

Inside the showroom, one of our biggest achievements was the completion of our refreshed office area. Now featuring wall-to-wall linings and profiles, the space also includes an expanded display of over 120 linings, giving clients an even richer selection experience.

This year also marked the beginning of our exciting partnership with Build Insite. As new sponsors, they brought fresh energy into Circa Studio, using our space as the recording hub for their industry podcast and adding a dynamic layer of conversation and awareness.

We also enjoyed being part of the Bowens Golf Day, where our coffee cart, branded golf balls, and sunscreen greeted players at the 10th hole. A memorable highlight was watching Collingwood’s Jeremy Howe hit a hole-in-one on his very first shot, followed by Andy Bowen’s lunchtime interview with Scott Pendlebury.

Looking ahead to 2026, we’re excited for a full calendar, including the Hydrowood launch, a Build Insite showcase, the Southern Design Group × Bankston product launch, designer-focused events, and the highly anticipated debut of our Circa Cellar Door.
