Circa Studio: Bowens Expo Wrap Up for 2026

“Circa. Connecting people, materials & ideas.”

What a day!

A big thank you to everyone who visited us at the Bowens Expo and took the time to explore our stand, meet our partners and discover something new. For those who missed out, we created a space designed to encourage discovery, conversation and connection. Held at Melbourne’s REB on Thursday 3 September, we brought together a considered selection of architectural products, trusted partners and industry voices, creating an experience that invited visitors to stop, explore, ask questions and get hands-on.

The day was also about the people behind the products. The Build Insite team recorded a live podcast [above] from the stand and conducted interviews with Circa partners, opening up conversations around design, making, innovation and what’s shaping our industry.

A tactile experience built around discovery, connection and inspiration. The centrepiece was a 7.2-metre-long trestle table, crafted in three sections by Thirteen Architectural Timber, using beautiful timber supplied by Crafted Hardwoods. More than a meeting point, the table became a tactile material library, with samples spanning Circa timber flooring, wall and ceiling linings, profiles, door hardware and intricate bespoke handrail prototypes. It provided an opportunity to see and feel the quality of materials up close, while talking through their potential applications and detailing.

A special thank you to our featured partners Buster + Punch, Crafted Hardwoods, Porta, Hydrowood, and Zanda who showcased a diverse range of products and finishes for residential and commercial projects. Returning Principal Event Partner Laminex presented a broad selection from its portfolio, including Surround by Laminex and its new Architectural Panel offer, giving visitors another opportunity to explore materiality, texture and application.

What’s a Circa experience without exceptional hospitality?! The Circa Espresso Bar, serving Little Lon Affogatos and Espresso Martinis, offered a relaxed place to pause, catch up and continue the conversation.

If you missed us at Expo this year, or if you’d like to continue the conversation, make an appointment to visit us at the Circa Studio in Port Melbourne, where you can explore our complete collection and experience the broader range of architectural finishes, interior products and specialist brands that Circa brings together.
