What are composite decking boards?

Composite decking boards are an engineered product that provide a durable and versatile option for outdoor spaces. Deckorators® Composite Decking

Deckorators® composite decking is an ultra-durable and lightweight decking made with polypropylene and calcium carbonate, providing excellent strength-to-weight ratio.

PermaTimber® Composite Decking

Made with 87% recycled materials, PermaTimber® is a UV stabilised composite decking designed to resist colour fade, weather and termites. It is a reversible design with heavy-grain or sanded finish.

Warranty: 10 years

Installation: Grooved-edged boards for concealed fixings

Modwood® (Xtreme Guard) Composite Decking

Modwood® composite decking is made with capped technology using the highest level of slip resistance and is unaffected by chlorine or saltwater. This makes it ideal for pool areas.

Trex® composite decking is made from 95% recycled plastic film and reclaimed sawdust. This composite decking is low maintenance, mould resistant and suitable for bushfire areas.

Traction level: Moderate. Can become slick when it rains or ices

Installation: Grooved-edged boards and hidden fasteners
