Circa welcomed a select group of architects, interior designers and builders to its award-winning Port Melbourne showroom for the exclusive launch of the complete Bankston Collection. The intimate event marked the beginning of an exciting new partnership, with Circa now proudly offering the full suite of Bankston architectural hardware collections.

Established by Southern Design Group and driven by a philosophy that views architectural hardware as the “punctuation marks” of a designed environment, Bankston has quickly become one of Australia’s most respected design-led hardware brands. Collaborating with internationally renowned architects and designers, Bankston creates collections that challenge conventional perceptions of hardware, transforming functional objects into thoughtful design statements.

Guests were welcomed with sparkling wine before joining a fireside conversation between Circa Manager Suzanne McNeice and Bankston founder and Southern Design Group Co-CEO Emily Bradley. The discussion explored Bankston’s design philosophy, Southern Design Group’s B Corp journey, and the role of values-led leadership in shaping contemporary design businesses.

Following the conversation, attendees experienced four curated tasting stations, each pairing a Bankston collection with a premium Marnong Estate wine and artisan cheese selection. Guided by the designers behind the collections and Marnong Estate winemaker Alex Beckett, guests were invited to engage with the craftsmanship, materiality and stories behind each range.

Featured collections included Hemispheres by Civilian, Super Collection by Sans-Arc, The Streaks by YSG and Casts by Edition Office, each reflecting a distinct design language while embodying Bankston’s commitment to innovation, craftsmanship and collaboration.

The evening concluded with networking and further exploration of the collections, reinforcing the shared values between Circa and Bankston: thoughtful design, exceptional quality and meaningful industry connection.
