What do Glenco specialise in and why?
Glenco Building Group specialises in custom home building and design, offering styles such as coastal, modern, farmhouse, and Hamptons. As a Mornington Peninsula builder, we adapt to the diverse landscape and environmental factors, including sloping or irregular sites, bushfire-prone zones, and flood areas. With an in-house design team, we work closely with clients to bring their vision to life while ensuring the home is perfectly suited to its surroundings.

The house you recently finished in the Mornington Peninsula, Mt Eliza is a British inspired custom home. Why do you believe clients come to you with unique visions such as this?
Clients come to us with unique visions, like the British-inspired custom home in Mt Eliza, because of our meticulous attention to detail and our ability to transform ideas into reality. Our detailed pre-start process and thorough decision-making before site commencement ensure a smooth and efficient building experience, allowing us to execute custom designs to the highest standard.
Your client had a flooring consultation with CIRCA prior to selecting the Arbre engineered timber flooring. How was this process helpful for you and what was your involvement the process?
Our in-house interior designer collaborated closely with the client to develop a few potential colour schemes for joinery and tiles. To ensure the perfect flooring choice, we directed the client to the CIRCA showroom, where they could view large displays, feel the textures, and make an informed decision. This hands-on experience was invaluable in finalising selections that complemented the overall design.
CIRCA also helped your client with door hardware selection. What do you believe the benefit is of a service like CIRCA for builders?
A service like CIRCA is invaluable for builders because it allows clients to see and feel full-scale displays, ensuring they make confident and informed decisions. Having access to a wide range of high-quality finishes, like door hardware, helps streamline the selection process and ensures all elements work harmoniously within the home’s design.
Why did your client select the Tallowwood decking?
We chose Tallowwood decking primarily for its availability and durability. We presented the client several options with varying colours and finishes, and Tallowwood stood out as the best fit for the home’s entry and first-floor balcony. Its natural resilience, longevity, and ability to complement the overall design made it the ideal choice.
