The Collingwood Players Who Know Their Way Around the Tools
From the Field to the Worksite
With intense training sessions and game-day pressure, it’s easy to forget that some Collingwood Football Club players are just as handy with a power tool as they are with a footy. AFL players Tim Membrey, Harry Perryman, Lachie Schultz, and AFLW player Selena Karlson are not only quality athletes, they’re also tradies.
This unique crossover between sport and skill is one of the many reasons Bowens is proud to partner with Collingwood for 2025.
“Bowens have led the way throughout the Australian construction industry, providing tradies, builders and professionals with top-quality and reliable supplies,” Collingwood CEO Craig Kelly said in a recent media release.
To celebrate the partnership, Bowens quizzed the players on some hard-hitting topics – favourite tools, quarter-time snacks, coffee orders, and their life on the tools. Whether it’s game day or a day on site, these players prove that hard work, grit and a good tool go a long way.

Bowens x Collingwood Partnership
Bowens will support both the AFL and AFLW programs, with branding seen across game-day signage. But beyond the banners, it’s about celebrating the shared passion between two proudly Victorian institutions.
“As two organisations established more than 130 years ago, Bowens and Collingwood both have a long and proud history with a focus on delivering results,” said Bowens Director Andy Bowen. “This partnership connects us with builders and trades who love their footy just as much as their work on the tools.”
