WorkWell Mental Health Industry Trials

Are you passionate about creating change and supporting the mental health of Victorians in your industry? 

WorkSafe has just launched the WorkWell Mental health industry trials. Grants of up to $1.76 million are available for lead organisations to create positive change in workplaces.

The industry trials will introduce practical approaches to improve psychological health and safety at work, and ultimately, reduce mental injury in Victoria.

Would you like to help design and run an Industry trial?

This could be an opportunity for you or someone you know. Successful applicants must focus on improving psychological

health and safety in within the construction industry. Subdivisions include:

– Building construction 

– Heavy and civil engineering construction 

– Construction services

Why focus on workplace mental health?

Did you know that mentally-healthy workplaces experience up to 43% fewer sick days than environments with poor mental health? Addressing the mental health risks at work benefits everyone.

Research also tells us that mentally healthy workplaces experience up to 72% more productivity than work environments with poor mental health.

This means – less absenteeism, less presenteeism and greater staff retention. So, addressing the psychological health and safety risks at work and maintaining a culture that prioritises good mental health also provides valuable benefits to businesses.
