Arkadian Homes Chooses GAF Roofing for a Hampton-Inspired Look

When it came time to build a display home in Warragul, Arkadian Homes was looking for a roofing solution that would deliver something different from their usual approach while complementing the home’s architectural style.

For this display home, Jeff visited Circa Studio in Port Melbourne, where he viewed the GAF roofing range up close to gain a better understanding of how the product could work on their project.

“We wanted to do something different from the Colorbond roof we normally do,” said Jeff. “We chose the GAF Timberline shingle because it had that authentic Hampton look.”

Like any roofing system, there were some considerations during construction, particularly on more complex building designs.

“The challenges using this roofing system are probably more on the double-storey side of it,” said Jeff.

It meant coordinating the cladding installation and the installation of the ground and first-floor roof cover. Despite this, the completed result delivered exactly what the team had hoped for. And yet the GAF roofing system offers a lot more benefits than just aesthetics.
